About Sandra

Flat lay of a gray concrete surface with a black and white floral patterned cup, pink lilac flowers, green leaves, pinecones, candles, and four tarot cards.

For thousands of years, people have turned to stories, dreams, myths, rituals, and symbols to help make sense of life's biggest questions.

Long before self-help books and personality tests, there were archetypes and images that spoke to something deeper than words.

I believe we've never stopped needing them, which is why I've spent more than thirty years studying and working with visual languages.

I’ve been a professional photographer since 1999, and a photography educator since 2014. That work taught me how light and body language tell stories. Images can communicate truths that words sometimes cannot. And I think that is powerful.

Alongside that career, I've quietly studied tarot for nearly four decades. I’ve used it to process my own life, the good and the bad, to make friends and connections, and to help people find answers, hope and clarity.

Whether you see tarot as psychology, spirituality, synchronicity, or simply a tool for reflection doesn't matter nearly as much as the conversation it can help you create.

Because I've come to believe that life is constantly speaking to us.

Through nature.

Through stories.

Through dreams.

Through symbols.

Sometimes, even through a deck of cards.

“This is the perfect place for a testimonial, quote or statement.”
